Today was a really mellow day. Jake stayed in his jammies all day. I didn't leave the house. I did get dressed, but really didn't need to. It was cloudy, with threats of rain. It hit just about naptime, and it was perfect for napping. We had stayed in today, as Chris had a field trip to Connor Prairie, and we weren't going with him. It was going to be a crazy busy day, but we changed our plans. And that ended up being good. We just hung out at home. Jake and I were downstairs playing, I came up to change him, when I found this.
Sam was watching Phineas and Ferb and laying down on a pillow in front of the tv. Just like my sister and I used to. I never told them or showed them how to do this. He just did it. Just like his Aunty Lisa. He looks like her, and he's beginning to act like her. Uh oh. Well, it could be an uh oh, or it just could be that's inherited some of the sweet cutesy things she used to do. We'll see. Jake is just as much an uh oh. His new favorite game is to hit his brothers on the head whenever they are in range. And Sam lets him. Trouble, both of them. But today, today they were sweet. It's neat for me to wonder if these are the moments that will lead to something in the future.
