Practicing in Manual again, this time on a non-moving target.  The boys each brought home a flower from Grandma's casket, light purple was her favorite color.

A little too shady on the table so I moved it into the sunshine.  

Time for closeups.  This was my favorite shot, cropped up a little bit.   

Then I played around with it in picasa, choosing the 60's (above) and  Lomo style (below) as my favorites, I just love how it played with the natural shades of pink within the lavender flower, and boosted them.  

They turned out pretty I thought, which was nice to find something nice from the day.
