Wednesday was a day of many completed projects. First, for me.
Back in January, I started something special, just for me. I have been knitting this 'noro' scarf...though mine wasn't made with Noro brand yarn, because Dang, that stuff is expensive. But it's so warm. Of course, as soon as I finished it, and decided to wear it, the weather warmed up. Ignore the photobombing baby.
The final product!
I don't care if it's 60 degrees out, I'm wearing the scarf!
Then I did some shopping, putting the finishing touches on some party purchases for Sam's party on Friday night.
I got some beautiful tulips for Sam from Trader Joe's. They have the prettiest bouquets. And I forget how much I love fresh flowers. They had them in groups of 10, so I picked up a white bouquet, split them into 2 groups, making 5 for each bouquet for Sam, and they made him smile. It's going to be a fun party.
Christopher came home with this present for me. It's an elephant! He made it in art class at school, and he said it got into a jungle attack, and that's how it lost an ear and the tip of her trunk. Honestly, I think it's a girl elephant, because that one giant pink ear looks kind of like a bow.
Chris says he made this for me, because he knows how much I love receiving these beautiful gifts. I do, I really do! I put her in a place of honor in the living room, next to my 'world' pinch pot from last year. It's almost like my new little elephant is drinking from the watery pinch pot.
