Looking around

 I'm getting caught up on my blogs. I'm tremendously behind. I've been taking photos every day, but drama and life happen, and when I finally get a minute to sit down, the last thing I feel like doing is documenting the icky parts. But life slowly improves, and I can focus on the good things, like pictures of the Cuteness. From Last Thursday:

Last Thursday, I took a Bird Walk with Christopher for a homework assignment on birds. We'd seen woodpeckers earlier in the week, but it was nice to hunt with him. 

Though because our neighborhood was Pleaseant Valley Sunday, there weren't a lot of unusual birds because of the lawn mowers, but we saw Robins, a Goose, and a Duck. Then we had a personal family tour of the library. Sam and Chris were so good.

We got to see the special behind the scenes stuff at the library. It was great.   We learned a lot about what they do,  and about how they stay current with technologies.  They have databases that we can read free e-books, or download music (three a week), and a special creative room where I could load up pictures or video to digitize them, and edit them.  I could spend a lot of time in that room.  Someday.

To top it off, as we were driving home, I got a call it was Book Club night. Had no idea. Total bonus!
