Squirrel!

It's very easy to get distracted by the pretty birds hanging around the feeder this time of year. 

This goldfinch was very pretty, but his colors were a bit muted by the dim light, so I had to play around with it.  I'm not happy with it.  The leaves look too saturated for me.  Still, the bird looks nice. 

But wait - Squirrel!  

He's been trying to sneak about the bird feeder.  

But Princess and I are on guard! 

I love this shot of him carrying a nutty snack. 

And we got a visit from the Mrs.

Mrs. Cardinal that is.
