Friday Fill Ins

1. A smile is forever. (especially if you catch it on film) My heart simply warms at the thought of Chris's smiles, or his laughter, they get me through medical procedures, not just the ones on him, but on me too. Because no one can be as wonderful and strong and resilient as Christopher.
2. Shanghai Rummy is my favorite board or card game. But I love Beans, or Killer Bunnies, Trivia Pursuits of various flavors, but I stink at Strategy games.
3. I would love to have more Jesus in my life and less medical drama.
4. When I think of the Summer Solstice, I think of my girlfriend Lisa's birthday, and Chris's half birthday. He'll be 2 1/2 tomorrow.
5. I just remembered I need to phone stalk Dr. Wilson's office. He's Chris's Developmental Pediatrician at Riley. Awesome guy, but not fabulous at returning calls.
6. One of my favorite song lyrics goes like this: "Such a Tiny Offering, Compared to Calvary, Nevertheless, we lay it at your feet." God With Us by MercyMe There are many others, but this one is heavy on my heart this week, perhaps next weeks Thursday 13 should be top 13 song lyrics. Hmmm.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to Eric is making a "surprise" dinner on the grill that he just finally fixed, and he's not telling me what it is, tomorrow my plans include Deckfest 2008 at the Julius's and Swim Class, oh and a Bridal Shower for my new sister (in law to be)and Sunday, I want to take a nap, of course! But I'll be hard pressed, because...(drumroll please) I'm having a girly day with Caryn which will consist of lunch and Pedicures. We used to try to do 1st Pedi's of the sandal wearing time of year together, but time gets away from us, and instead of it being in April/May, it's now Mid-June!

Shanghai Rummy - when do we get to play THAT at game night? I'm in!

"Deckfest 2008" HA! I love it! Actually, the real deckfest will be when we build the new one and have people over to celebrate!

Less medical drama....
Isn't it ironic, don't you think? :)
