Flowers from our trip to the Zoo yesterday.
Orchids. They aren't bringing the butterflies back (Again!) this year. :( But they do have some great orchids.
I'm pretty sure this one was called a Lady Slipper orchid, Lisa was most intrigued by the cilia like hairs lining the petals.
Tulips, so bright they glowed.
And some tulips that were just Cool.
I don't know what this was, but it was really pretty.
My googling prowess is leading me to think Japanese Kerria. What do you think?

I love the shot of the tulip. So cool! Thanks so much for joining us in the Leap Into Spring Photo Challenge. We'll be moving on to Easter/eggs on Friday. Can't wait to see your photos! Have a great day. :)
No butterflies?! Such a bummer! Lovely flowers though.
Great pictures (flowers are one of my favorite things to photograph). Love the picture of the tulips - they almost don't look real. Also like the close-up of the one tulip. I've never seen one with ragged edges.
What gorgeous flower photos these are. I especially like the orchid photos for sentimental reasons - I used to grow them.
