Getting out of the car

I love fall. I love the colors. No one but God can make the death of trees so beautiful. I've been mourning the loss of my camera the last few weeks. I haven't been able to take a lot of pictures, or take the boys out and get crazy. But it always happens you miss it the most when it's gone. My mother in law took pity on me and lent me her canon point and shoot. It's smaller than Chris's polaroid, which I'd been trying to use, but those were failing. So I broke out the point and shoot yesterday on the way home from a therapeutic lunch date.

It was a gorgeous day, and even though Sam was tired, he was thrilled to stop and take pictures with me. This is a me from Sam's view.

My word, look at those Colors!

We were on the back side of Eagle Creek park, and there were these weeds growing right up the trunks of the trees, and the weed leaves were turning first. It gave such a neat contrast of color. Check it out.

I was able to zoom and get a little closer. I'm really digging this little camera.

We couldn't have picked a prettier day to get outside, and play, even it was just a moment to pull over and get out of the car as we drove around the back of the park.

Mommy wants a sugar maple tree.

Sam and I had a great time just stopping to take in the weather. Gorgeous!
