Sweetboys Submerged

Chris is 3 weeks postop from his MACE surgery. He's had a foley catheter tube acting as a placeholder since the surgery, stitched to his skin in one place, and buckled down to a sticker on his other hip. Yesterday the tube came out, my baby is Cordless! Already he's showing signs of feeling better. He hasn't been allowed to be submerged in water for almost a month. And he hates showers. Luckily he's getting better about them, but Chris was most excited about finally getting to take a bath. This evening the boys were extra adorable taking a bath together.

Our Crazy Days of Summer group has chosen Water for the theme this week, and that's going to be a Wonderful one for us, as Chris is finally allowed back in the water after watching painfully from the sidelines for 3 weeks. Now he's allowed to play in the water, and play he shall!

Beautiful sweetboys battling for the faucet water. Love it!

Aw, what a sweet, touching story. So glad the theme worked out with what is going on in your life. How difficult that must have been and how much sweeter the simple act of a bath is. Thanks so much for linking up to our Crazy Days of Summer Challenge!

Such a sweet story. I know how hard it is when your little one has to have surgery. Praying for the best for all of you. Love the pictures...

What a touching story! I'm so glad that your little guy can finally enjoy playing in the water once more. The joy on both boys faces is contagious. The warmth of your voice in this post gave me goosebumps. I'm so glad that things are going well for your son. :)
Thank so much for joining Alicia and I in the Crazy Days of Summer photo challenge again this week. I can't wait to see what you'll do with our next theme: YELLOW.
Hope you're having a great weekend, despite not moving in to your new home like you had hoped.
