My Pride and Joy

Happy Mother's Day!!!

I hope you all who either have mothers or are mothers are having a wonderful mother's day. My Mother's Day got a rather bumpy start, the day welcomed by a cat who wanted to play Marco Polo at 5:45 in the morning. After a while of shushing him, and nearly beating him, Chris woke up at 6:15 and Sam at 7. But after a hot shower, I noticed a bouquet of pastel roses greeting me with a homemade card, and a handprint made at school. Perfect.

We went to church, made it to the early service, and the boys were miraculously good during service, well mostly, had a great meeting to vote to extend a call to a new Pastor...AT LAST!!! We met the Fam for lunch at Pit Stop...as if their Sunday Brunch wasn't fabulous enough, they kicked it Up for Mother's day. Good Food, Good Company.

And we came home and got a Good Nap.

This afternoon/evening, while Daddy and I took turns working in the garden, which was quite therapeutic for me, the boys played. My boys were in rare form, being goofy and silly.
